CHRISTOPHER TURNER EASTSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERSHIP AWARD
Every year at our annual “Eastside Extravaganza” fundraiser in the Fall, W/CDC gives out a special award, with a $500 cash prize, in honor of one of our deceased Founding Board Members, Christopher Turner, who was the President of the Hurlbut Block Club and an outstanding and committed visionary. The Board of Directors of Rebuilding Communities, Inc. determines the winner from the list of nominees. To qualify for the Christopher Turner Eastside Neighborhood Leadership Award, a person must:
- Be nominated by their organization
- Have a track record of outstanding and unselfish volunteer leadership in their neighborhood
- Not be a previous winner

Nominations will not be accepted after September 15 of any given year, to be considered for that year.
